Turriff Academy

Turriff Academy is a rural secondary school in Aberdeenshire who will explore the real-world application of drone technology, particularly in a rural setting. Students in S1 to S3 will have an opportunity to code and pilot drones, conduct data collection, create digital maps, and perform environmental analysis. They will capture aerial imagery and gather environmental data to track changes in vegetation, litter accumulation, and wildlife presence throughout the year.
